Job Description
Not Just A Job… A Career. NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician to work for a food packaging facility near Junction City. This is a food production position that would be a great fit for anyone who prefers stability in their work schedule. Are you looking for consistent work, routine in your work schedule? What we are seeking:
6+ months of working in a food production environment or food service experience. Support implementation of food safety programs, including HACCP, GMP, and sanitation procedures. Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections. Strong computer and organizational skills; working knowledge of MS Office. Monitoring, sampling, and testing food products to ensure they comply with quality standards and customer specifications. Collaborate with customers and consumers to resolve complaints. Must be able to read, write, and speak in English fluently as you must be able to follow instructions given verbally or/and in writing. Verification of sanitation activities, including preoperational inspections, swabbing, and communicating corrective actions to production personnel. Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written. Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a semi-consistent basis. Can bend, stand, stoop, push and pull for an 10- to 12-hour shift Great attendance, punctuality, and work ethics.
