Job Summary:
Quality Assurance Specialist Salary Range:
$30.75 To $43.00 Hourly The Quality Assurance Specialist provides regular audits of mental health and substance use disorder records, both randomly and targeted. Communicates expectations to staff and supervisors. Collaborates with to create training and reference materials to support training. Maintains Audit and Education Work Plan in collaboration with Compliance Team. May work on special projects assigned by leadership. Attends staff meetings and provides support and education at each meeting. Manages work tickets related to documentation questions, education requests, and Epic utilization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years combined clinical experience or advanced education.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in behavior health field with clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) preferred.
  • Experience working in both mental health and SUD treatment preferred. Dually credentialed a plus.
  • Previous chart auditing experience preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Reviews mental health and substance use disorder records across divisions for compliance and quality.
  • Reports noncompliance concerns and patterns to senior leadership.
  • Regularly performs random chart audits and provides corrective feedback to staff and supervisors.
  • Performs targeted reviews as directed by the QI / Compliance Team.
  • Creates and updates training materials for staff and facilities training related to quality documentation in collaboration with IS.
  • Organizes and carries out special projects related to site review readiness and other initiatives.
