Job Title:
Quality Inspector Job Description A Quality Inspector supports quality functions across packaging, warehousing, and distribution operations. The role ensures that all products processed through primary and secondary packaging meet GMP/cGMP, safety, and documentation standards. Responsibilities Perform quality inspections on clinical and commercial products during primary and secondary packaging operations. Verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/cGMP) and internal quality systems. Document inspection results, deviations, and corrective actions according to SOPs. Support cross-functional teams including operations, warehouse, and distribution to resolve quality issues. Assist with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage of materials, including work in cold rooms/freezers when required. Move through the manufacturing areas inspecting product at the machines to ensure quality and identify defects. Retrieve bags of product by lifting from a shipper box, place bag on light table to visually examine the product over the light. Document findings on the Daily Quality Status Report (DQSR). Maintain QC documents at the machines, labels, bar codes, PQR etc. Essential Skills 2 to 3 years of experience related to quality control or preferably in a manufacturing or quality environment. Attention to detail and experience with manufacturing environment, equipment, and safety procedures.
