Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Quality Inspector in Boothwyn, Pennsylvania , to support quality control throughout the curtainwall manufacturing process. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, the ability to read engineering drawings, and a commitment to maintaining high production standards. The Quality Inspector will review incoming materials, inspect completed curtainwall components, document results, and communicate findings to production and quality teams. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing, construction, or curtainwall industry experience who is looking for consistent weekend hours with the possibility of additional on-call weekday work.
The Day-to-Day:
Inspect and approve curtainwall components or completed units at different stages of the manufacturing process to ensure they meet quality and cleanliness standards. Review incoming materials, including aluminum, glass, stone, machined parts, and related components, against drawings, procedures, and defined quality requirements. Enter inspection results into Epicor and maintain accurate quality records, logs, and spreadsheets. Inspect completed curtainwall units and crating to confirm compliance before release. Read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering CAD drawings to verify that curtainwall units and individual components are fabricated and installed correctly. Communicate quality concerns to upstream quality and assembly personnel when issues are identified. Provide clear inspection feedback that helps support the overall quality of completed curtainwall units. Use ADP and Epicor to track time spent supporting assigned projects. Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and quality expectations at all times.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required. Associate degree or higher preferred. Experience in the curtainwall, construction, manufacturing, or related quality inspection field preferred. Ability to read and understand drawings, procedures, and quality standards. Comfortable working with inspection logs, spreadsheets, and production tracking systems. Ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to perform repetitive lifting and other physically demanding tasks. Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate quality concerns clearly.

$26.00 to $29.00 per hour
