Job Description

Barchemy LLC - Quality Technician At Barchemy we never stop looking for unstoppable talent. As our Quality Technician , your objective is to monitor critical quality attributes of finished products and ingredients for a confectionary plant according to the Quality systems manual, record and report on a timely manner results from analysis, inspections and scoring sessions.
Quality Technician Responsibilities:
Follow Standard Operation Procedure and samples raw ingredient and finish product Maintain Quality Assurance Manual Document results and pertinent observations after each analysis, score session or inspection Retrieve and send samples as directed for analytical and microbiological testing Ensure plant cleanliness and compliance with use of allergen testing swabs, environmental and ATP swabs Isolate and place nonconforming products or ingredients on hold and document hold by entering data on Hold Log and circulating information to Operations and Quality Responsible for food safety and quality
Quality Technician Qualifications:
At least 2-3 years laboratory/quality assurance in a food manufacturing environment BS in Food Science, Nutrition or similar Basic computer skills or better in Microsoft HACCP and/or HARPC certified preferred Organized, detail oriented, able to handle repetitive tasks quickly and accurately Must be proactive, responsible, self - motivated and self-managed Barchemy offers an above industry standard hourly wage commensurate with experience and performance as well as a benefits package.
