Job Summary Ice Qube, Inc. seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team at our Greensburg and Jeannette facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. This role involves conducting quality audits and utilizing precision measuring instruments. The Quality Control Inspector will play a crucial role in upholding our commitment to quality and excellence. Responsibilities Conduct regular quality inspections on products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards. Perform quality audits to assess the effectiveness of quality systems and processes. Perform Monthly and Quarterly equipment calibration and verifications per schedule Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measure to measure product dimensions accurately. Collect and analyze data related to product quality, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality inspections and audits. Collaborate with production teams to address any quality issues promptly and effectively. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in a quality control role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, Tape measure, DMM, etc. Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics and technical drawings Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions as needed. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for data collection and analysis. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining independence in decision-making related to quality issues. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting of inspection findings. Work environment Work in a Commercial AC manufacturing, racks, and enclosure environment. Work with sheet metal components, enclosures, hardware, test equipment and other parts requiring use of inspection tools Work with other employees, vendors, and client requests Standing and walking in the shop for extended periods of time, up to and including 8 hours a day.
