Dayton Parts is seeking a Quality Tech to join our growing team in Harrisburg, PA! In this role you will inspect all manufactured product for compliance with customer and Dayton Parts specification.   • 2:00am; Friday 2:00pm
  • 10:30pm Job Summary The Quality Inspector / Quality Technician supports manufacturing operations by ensuring products meet internal specifications and customer requirements.
This role is responsible for inspection activities, quality audits, nonconformance containment, and participation in root cause and corrective action processes. Key Responsibilities Inspect manufactured products for compliance with customer, drawing, and internal specifications Perform incoming, in-process, final, and outgoing inspections Review production travelers and quality documentation for accuracy Conduct layered process audits and material compliance audits Support certification, calibration, and documentation of inspection equipment Lead or assist with nonconformance containment and root cause analysis Inspect warranty returns and customer claim material Identify and help implement poka-yoke (error-proofing) opportunities Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or operations Experience working in a manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in a technical or manufacturing-related field Experience with inspection tools and product qualification testing Familiarity with automotive components Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to lift up to 20 pounds Regular standing, reaching, bending, and moving between work areas Manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels Apply today to find out what makes Dayton Parts a great place to work!
