Job Description

Join our dynamic team at Kin-Tech, a leading precision machining company. We serve the Defense industry, playing a crucial role in producing components that support the Navy Nuclear Propulsion program. We are currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet or exceed the quality standards that our customers have come to expect. Responsibilities Perform in-process and final inspections of precision machined components to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and customer requirements Use a variety of measuring tools and inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators, gage pins, thread gages, optical measurement systems, profilometers, CMMs, and other inspection equipment as required Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements per
ASME Y14.5
Develop and maintain customer-required data packages and inspection documentation, including inspection reports, material certifications, and other quality records Review manufacturing documentation for completeness and accuracy Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances and assist with corrective actions Collaborate closely with machinists, programmers, and management to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes Support calibration activities and maintain organized inspection records Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, inspection efficiency, and process consistency Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in quality or manufacturing preferred Minimum of three (3) years of dimensional inspection experience, preferably in a precision machining or job shop environment Thorough understanding of GD&T per
ASME Y14.5
