Senior QA Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior QA Analyst to validate and certify Private Equity reports built using Crystal Reports and SSRS. This role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, report correctness, formatting, parameter behavior, and regression validation. The candidate will play a critical role in validating end-to-end reporting solutions across data, configuration, and presentation layers to meet both business and technical expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform end-to-end validation of client-specific reports across data, configuration, and presentation layers Validate SQL Server stored procedures including parameter handling, aggregations, grouping logic, and data scoping Test Crystal Reports and SSRS reports for layout accuracy, conditional logic, formulas, and branding elements Validate JSON configuration files and ensure proper binding to datasets and reports Execute regression testing to ensure no residual dependencies in reused or copied components Compare report outputs with source systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency Document defects clearly and collaborate with development teams for resolution Support UAT and production deployment activities as required

Required Skills:

7-8 years of QA experience in data-driven or reporting-centric systems Strong hands-on experience with Crystal Reports and SSRS testing Experience validating SQL Server stored procedures Strong SQL skills for writing and executing complex queries Experience validating financial or investment reporting (Private Equity preferred) Strong understanding of report parameters, calculations, and aggregation logic Experience with QA Automation frameworks

Preferred Skills:

Experience with investor reporting, NAV validation, or capital reporting Familiarity with batch reporting, PDF generation, and multi-report packaging Exposure to production support and root cause analysis

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field (preferred)
