Job Description

The QA Technician reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor and collects data that supports the Quality Assurance program. The ideal candidate will have proven ability to perform well on any of the assigned tasks. The candidate will be a quality-focused individual who is passionate and driven to deliver best in class performance and continuously improves what and how we do our work to ensure business success. The individual is driven by teamwork, integrity, and easily works cross-functionally. This role is responsible for monitoring operational procedures, evaluating products/materials, recording data, and reporting quality concerns to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Assurance:
Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process at scheduled intervals. Document product test results and report non-conformances to the Quality Supervisor.
Good Manufacturing Practices:
Ensure ALL employees are following Food and Employee safety procedures with the responsibility to correct or report lapses as needed. Document soiled tools and equipment for review and correction with the sanitation department.
Compliance and Documentation:
Adhere to company record keeping protocols and industry regulations. Maintain detailed records of product/material inspections, HACCP-related checks, non-conforming materials, facility inspections, shift change reports, and quality concerns.
Equipment and Supplies:
Operate testing equipment includes thermometers, refractometers, sodium and salt meters, and pH readers. Collect Environmental and Product samples for in-house and third-party testing. Monitor inventory levels of QA laboratory supplies.
Safety and Health:
Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Pay:
From $26.50 per hour
