Job Description

The Quality Inspector is responsible for testing products for compliance and supporting various tasks needed to maintain a Quality Management System. The position requires the individual to be safety conscious at all times and comply with all environmental, health and safety (E.H.S) procedures. Successful candidates must be able to follow company policies and procedures, be able to communicate professionally with fellow associates and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate laboratory testing equipment and perform daily product testing. Generate Certificates of Compliance test reports as required. Perform in-process and routine quality inspections and machine/work-center process audits. Assist with the calibration of QC lab equipment. Continuous validation of compliance with the Quality Management System. Develop quality related SOP's, Work/Technical Instructions and Data Sheets. Follow all company and department policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality and safety of personnel and products. Responsible to report any deviations or quality issues to Management. Create and track/report quality and nonconformance issues per the Quality management system (Red Tag, Nonconformance and Corrective action procedures). Investigate customer complaints and returned materials related to potential quality issues. Participate in Continuous Improvement Activities. Data analysis and reporting. What We're Looking For:
Prefer college associate/bachelor degree; Trade School with related lab/quality experience is acceptable. Ability to read, write and interpret routine work instructions. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to read and interpret industry standards a plus. Primary plant work location will be Lancaster D3, secondary Lancaster D2 and occasion work in Denver D1. Knowledge in computer skills (Word, Excel Outlook) Direct Wire participates with eVerify.
