Requirements:
Inspection experience in an assembly-type manufacturing environment / Strong mechanical aptitude / Proficiency in reading both digital calipers and a tape measurePosition OverviewThe Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and specifications throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves conducting inspections, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough inspections of products at various stages of the manufacturing process.

Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers to assess product dimensions and tolerances.

Review and interpret CAD drawings to verify that products conform to design specifications.

Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality data.

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify quality issues and implement solutions.

Utilize Epicor software for tracking quality inspections and managing quality control processes.

Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement in quality assurance practices.

QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in quality control is a plus.

Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with manufacturing assembly processes and quality assurance methodologies.

Proficient in reading and interpreting CAD drawings and technical specifications.

Experience using measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures.

Knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP software is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
