The Quality Control Technician will perform laboratory testing and analysis to support manufacturing operations, product quality assurance, and material evaluation. This role requires working in a flexible, collaborative team environment while carrying out all assigned testing responsibilities.What you will be doing:
Perform laboratory tasks and testing following standard operating procedures Ensure the accuracy of testing results and verify each result Document tests procedures and results, monitors experiments, makes observations, calculates and records results, and develops conclusions Process/input test data to excel, compose plots and graphs, and organize data for PowerPoint reports Prepare samples for testing according to standard procedures (Internal, ASTM, AASHTO, etc.) Operate various types of lab instrumentation for particle size analysis, materials characterization Cleans and maintains laboratory equipment, calibrates equipment Prepares chemical solutions according to standard formulas, keep detailed technical records/notebooks Create weekly reports on projects and tasks, work with manufacturing plants on product quality and/or test results Maintain communication between supervisors and coworkers, provide backup support to the other Potters facilities as neededMinium Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED Desired Level:
College Degree in related field or equivalent experienceExperience:
1 to 3 years of Lab Experience - advanced education preferred 1 to 3 years of Manufacturing Environment Experience preferred Experience with Particle Size analysis, XRF, Coatings testing a plusSkills & Knowledge:
Microsoft Office - strong in Excel, Outlook, Word Laboratory Equipment Experience (particle Size , XRF, Density, Microscopy) Ability to communicate clearly with manager and co-workers and work independently Good housekeeping and Lab cleanliness skills Strong attention to Detail and Organization Consistency and Accuracy for Lab ResultsSimilar remote jobs
