Job Description

A hands-on Quality Assurance (QA) Associate with responsibility for all Quality aspects, including but not limited to
FDA & GMP
compliance, and compliance of staff to SOPs and processes for our Blood Bank. You will participate in audits from regulatory agencies, customer, suppliers, etc. Reports to Quality Management.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED At least 1-year experience in a Quality Control/Quality Assurance role. Good communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with people at all levels within the organization.
Responsibilities :
Onsite performing day-to-day Quality duties including compliance of staff to SOPs, validation, and training. This is not a remote or hybrid role. Reviews incoming material to ensure accurate receipt and suitability for use. Performing final Quality review of all documents related to release and shipment of Blood products. Ensuring the Blood Center operates within the scope of Quality procedures and regulatory guidelines. Setting high standards for service excellence and holding others accountable for delivering to those standards. Participating in internal and external audits and addressing non-compliance observations. Assists with or performs ongoing focused audits to ensure employees correctly perform procedures; identifies deficiencies and works closely with training staff to correct any issues noted. Assists management and training staff in communicating SOP and regulatory changes to staff and ensures documentation of training is complete. Assists in analyzing tracking and trending data and determines appropriate actions to improve trending. Reviews center logs and records to ensure information is accurate and/or legible as outlined in the Quality System SOP and ensure corrections are made as needed. Other job-related responsibilities as required.
