Hexcel is currently seeking a NC Operator 1 for our Pottsville, PA, USA location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: Operate all NC machines, including Thermwoods Support all NC's by performing the final inspection of parts Loading/unloading parts and tools and part preparation Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment Maintain an accurate E-log, 5-S, and housekeeping to customer requirement Individuals could be asked to operate different machines on their shift Department or area specific expectations will be further defined by supervisor/manage. Individual will support team efforts and product process by performing any operation or tasks deemed necessary by customer requirements, team consensus, and/or supervisor/manager Works in a team environment to reach consensus decisions within the guidelines and boundaries established by the company, and maintains constructive relationships with co-workers

Qualifications:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent Minimum of six months experience required, preferably in manufacturing Basic working knowledge of computer data entry function preferred Must be able to maintain a quality delegate stamp or attain and retain a quality delegate stamp Must follow all safety guidelines Must be a capable forklift operator Familiar with PC computer systems Possess good organizational and administrative skills Able to develop audit reports and write non-conforming records as required Eligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.
