Job Description
Final inspection of product at appropriate stages through production. Must have working knowledge of various inspection equipment, including but not limited to: CMM, micrometers, comparator, vari-roller, hardness tester, etc. Perform PPAP's and control plans, when requested, as customer dictates. Perform calibration, when requested. Perform leak testing and powder incoming inspection. Audit all stages of production. Coach Operators

EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); previous quality (Q.C) experience in P/M; preferred background in QC functions; CMM operation
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Computer knowledge and experience is required.
