Quality Inspector I

Key Responsibilities:

Reading blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and materials. Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to verify conformance to specifications. Approve or reject products based on inspection results and consult with the Quality Manager when necessary. Selecting output samples and checking them using appropriate methods. Performs complex testing procedures. Maintain records of testing, information and various records. Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is well-maintained and calibration if up to date. Prepare and submit reports to Quality Manager. Assist with non-conformance investigations and corrective actions as needed. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and processes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role. A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach. Familiarity with quality testing machines a plus. Thorough knowledge of quality control standards. Verbal and communication skills a must. Basic Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the production or warehouse environment for extended periods. Sufficient visual acuity to inspect small components and read measuring instruments.
