About Antique Building Solutions & Our Box Beam Shop:
At Antique Building Solutions, we don't just build architectural elements — we preserve history and reimagine it for modern spaces. Our work transforms reclaimed and new wood into heirloom-quality architectural features that feel as though they've lived a century before ever reaching a client's home. Our Box Beam Shop is not a factory line — it is a studio. A team of Artists, Sculptors, and Craftsmen who approach wood as both medium and story. Every beam carries nuance, character, and intention. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our shop and welcoming team members who understand that what we produce is more than a product it is a piece of craft with a soul. About the

1. Inspect finished box beams and related products for structural integrity, dimensional accuracy, and authentic aesthetic consistency, ensuring every piece meets Antique Building Solutions' standards before it leaves the shop. 2. Document all QC findings thoroughly in Jobber, including photo verification of every piece's dimensions, defining features, quantities, and any part numbers referenced within the work order. 3. Cross-reference work orders against job entries in Jobber to verify that all specifications align with the finished product, ensuring complete accuracy and thorough documentation at every stage. This can include verifying dimensions against technical drawings or engineered drawings. 4. Track the movement of materials between facilities, logging arrivals and departures with photos and detailed notes in Jobber to maintain full visibility of material flow. 5. Maintain calibration logs and inventory logs for machines, shop supplies, and sample inventory, ensuring all records are current and accurate. 6. Communicate proactively with team members when stock levels are low and facilitate the timely movement of materials to replenish inventory to established pars. 7. Drive the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and inspection checklists specific to box beam production, championing a culture of continuous improvement across the team. 8. Build crates and pallets and prepare detailed shipping lists to ensure the safe and organized transport of finished box beams and products. 9. Operate a forklift to facilitate the safe movement, loading, and unloading of materials and finished products throughout the facility. 10. Maintain an organized and efficient shop environment while keeping a constant pulse on material supply levels and overall production flow.
