UDT provides technical, professional, cyber security and managed services. This is a full-time position located in Orlando, Florida. Quality Control ClerkThe Quality Control Clerk, 1st Shift plays a key role in supporting UDTs customer product configuration and outbound fulfillment process at the Integration Center in Orlando, FL, and is part of the Lifecycle Services line of business. This role is focused on validating the quality specifics of outgoing orders in accordance with UDT accuracy standards by ensuring SOPs, Work Orders (WO), and defined quality requirements are met prior to shipment. The Quality Control Clerk works closely with multiple processing departments, leadership, and overall Quality Assurance personnel to enforce, suggest, develop, and improve quality standards and performance across the processing operation. This role requires extraordinary attention to detail, the ability to research and validate expected order outcomes in UDT systems (including OMS), and the ability to work within a team of quality-minded individuals in a fast-paced warehouse/production environment.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for working within the 1st shift time frame alongside processing teams to support daily outbound production schedules and shipping deadlines.
Accountable for upholding and validating UDT quality standards for outbound orders, ensuring that SOP steps and Work Order requirements are followed prior to release to shipping.
Capable of working within UDTs Order Management System (OMS) and other internal systems to research, interpret, and validate expected order outcomes, including item lookups using tag numbers or serial numbers and interpretation of Work Orders.
Responsible for performing systematic quality verification of outgoing orders, confirming required services are completed and identifying missing, incomplete, or incorrect elements that require correction prior to shipment. This includes verification of required accessories, documentation, and asset identification as defined by the Work Order and applicable SOPs.
Responsible for final outbound readiness steps consistent with defined quality workflows, including appropriate packaging verification, application of quality approval identification (as applicable), and movement of completed orders to designated outbound staging locations.
Maintain accurate quality control records and documentation in place and to be developed, including recording inspection outcomes, identified discrepancies, and resolution status in accordance with departmental procedures.
Accountable for identifying, escalating, and routing irregularities discovered during any quality review step to appropriate leads or supervisors to ensure timely corrective action without compromising standards.
Perform periodic and random quality audits or sampling checks to validate adherence to established standards, and work with leadership and Quality Assurance personnel to suggest and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensures appropriate separation of duties within quality processes where required by SOPs or operational controls.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a warehouse, production, or operations environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating the required skill sets. Demonstrated comfort working with computer systems and basic operating system concepts. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a dynamic group of resources from varied backgrounds.
Strong Process Orientation and Attention to Detail.
Strong mathematical skills to maintain counts and analysis as well as ability to generate and read reports.Required Skills:

Ability to Read, Analyze and understand work order workflows and instructions in English.
Ability to follow and execute plans provided by direct leadership.
Ability to confidently operate laptop, desktop, and tablet computers.
Ability to discern instructions from workflows and work orders to execute desired outcomes.
Ability to communicate with other departments to manage flow of goods volume and keep pace with production goals and inventory needs.
Ability to work 1st shift hours, weekends, and at times into the later hours of the day as per business needs.
Forklift certification preferred but not required. Ability to operate manual pallet jack is required.
Ability to be polite and use diplomacy in difficult situations when working with a varied landscape of personnel types on a daily basis.
Ability to perform with flexible schedules to accommodate peak and project-based production timeline requirements throughout the year.Judgment Skills:
Make proper assertions as to the safe handling and care of new, customer equipment, and maintaining the integrity of items as brand new through movement, organization, and storage.
Maintain acceptable levels of quality control to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Demonstrate politeness and diplomacy in difficult situations when working with a widely varied landscape of personnel types daily.Work Environment:
Persons in this position must work regularly near moving or mechanical machinery. Persons in this position are regularly exposed to moderate to loud noises (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic, materials extractors, forklift chimes, etc.), dust/dirt in conjunction with normal warehouse activities, heat or cold and other environmental variables consistent with working in a warehouse environment. Persons in this position run the risk of electric shock if established safety precautions are not adhered to properly.Physical Demands:
