Keyword Location Search view all jobs Quality Inspector III Southampton, PA Posted yesterday Apply Now Southampton, PA Monday-Friday | 1st Shift $25-$32/hour We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector III to join a growing manufacturing team in Southampton, PA. This position is ideal for an experienced inspector with a strong background in CNC machining and AS9100 environments who is confident performing advanced inspections, reviewing technical documentation, and mentoring junior inspectors. Responsibilities Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections on manufactured products Conduct visual and dimensional inspections according to customer specifications and engineering requirements Utilize measuring equipment including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and hardness testers Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and solid models Complete and maintain inspection reports, logs, and quality documentation Identify, quarantine, and document non-conforming material and products Generate and summarize non-conformance reports for discrepant products Inspect and approve incoming materials to verify compliance with specifications Release product for shipping by ensuring all required certifications and documentation are accurate and complete Support calibration activities for measuring and inspection equipment Participate in internal process audits, including workmanship and documentation verification Complete PPAP and First Article Inspection documentation and processing Collaborate with production and quality teams on corrective actions related to customer complaints, vendor issues, and internal process failures Assist in training and mentoring Level I and Level II inspectors to improve department performance Monitor measuring equipment functionality and report any repair or maintenance needs Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on inspection experience within an AS9100 and CNC machining environment Strong understanding and practical application of GD&T Experience using CMM equipment and precision measuring tools PC-DMIS and SolidWorks experience preferred Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment Education High school diploma required Associate degree in a related field preferred This is a full-time opportunity offering competitive pay, stable hours, and long-term growth within a quality-driven manufacturing environment.
Pay Details:
