Job Description

Healthcare Administrative Partners (HAP) is a leading provider of medical billing, coding, and consulting services for healthcare providers. Headquartered in Media, PA, with additional operations in Portsmouth, NH, we've earned our clients' trust for over two decades by delivering services with efficiency, integrity, and dedication. Our mission is to help healthcare providers achieve their financial goals while allowing them more time to focus on patient care. We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Coding Quality Assurance Auditor to join our remote Health Information Systems team. Responsibilities Conduct coding quality assurance audits, including review of procedures, diagnoses, and modifiers based on clinical documentation. Apply generally accepted coding standards and payer-specific policies as appropriate. Assess clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and support quality initiatives. Document audit findings using established tools and standards. Analyze results and develop recommendations for improvement. Generate audit summary reports for review by the Coding Quality Assurance Specialist. Serve as a subject matter expert on coding and compliance issues. Ensure confidentiality and security of all healthcare information. Participate in quality assurance special projects as assigned. Qualifications Current professional credentials through AHIMA or AAPC . Minimum of 3 years of coding and auditing experience . Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
