Job Description

Candidate must have the Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance. Not needed to start.
Description:
The candidate will review designs of aerospace hardware and evaluate compliance against military specifications such as
MIL-STD-11991.
They will review electrical and electronic equipment designs, including piece parts, circuit card assemblies, wires and harnesses, and electromechanical assemblies. The candidate must have three (3) years of experience working to
MIL-STD-11991
requirements and the developing non-standard part approval requests (NSPARs) to Department of Defense organizations. The candidate must have a strong understanding of key aerospace disciplines such as: corrosion control (galvanics, dissimilar materials, coatings) flammability control outgassing fundamentals of metal fabrication (sheets, plates, castings, and forgings) fundamentals of composite fabrication The candidate must have prior experience interpreting manufacturer datasheets, source control drawings, and Bill of Materials. Required expertise in composites and materials (2-4 years) and a strong required background in metallics (6+ years) Additionally, experience with non-metallic materials and weld engineering (1-2 years each) is considered a plus.
Required Education and Experience:
