Want to try something different? If you are a CURRENT Utah Office of Recovery Services employee and love to research, compile, analyze, and summarize data, look at this announcement!!! The Office of Recovery Services in Taylorsville is looking for a dedicated person to work in Administration's Quality and Compliance Unit (QCU). The person in this position may design and conduct management audits and analyze results, provide feedback to management, and recommend and/or prepare policy changes. This recruitment is open ONLY to current Utah Office of Recovery Services employees. A Career Mobility Contract will be used. Preference may be given to those who have worked at ORS and have child support case work or child support auditing experience for at least two (2) years. Key responsibilities and day to day responsibilities of this position: Trains new and existing staff Researches data Conducts audits and reviews Organize and analyze data Serve as a technical expert to staff The applicant chosen to fill this position may have access and exposure to Federal Tax Information (FTI), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) information, Criminal Justice Information (CJI), and other confidential information as defined by 45 CFR 303.21(a). Unauthorized access, use or disclosure is subject to federal and state penalties, fines, and disciplinary actions. Qualifications Minimum or "day-one" qualifications: Has excellent communication skills in written and oral form Performs research Learns, understands and applies federal regulations and ORS policy and procedures Investigates information and data Can deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism Can analyze and summarize data Receive and follow direction from management and administration Preferred or trainable/on-the-job qualifications: Testify in court About the Role Location
