Role Overview We are seeking a QA Specialist (Eligibility + Technical) to ensure our workflow-intensive healthcare systems function correctly end-to-end across UI, API, and database layers. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented systems thinker who can translate complex, real-world business requirements into comprehensive test coverage and validate both business logic and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities Eligibility & Workflow Validation:
Test complex eligibility logic, edge cases, and case management workflows end-to-end.
Automation Testing:
Build and maintain Selenium-based automation suites to safeguard critical workflows from regressions.
Backend & Data Validation:
Use SQL to validate data integrity, reconcile records, and confirm accurate processing across systems.
Test Design & Coverage:
Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on business requirements, workflow documentation, and acceptance criteria.

Translate flowcharts, business rules, and logic models into robust validation scenarios.
Systems-Level Testing:
Validate UI, API, and database behavior collectively to ensure correct decisioning and processing outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams.

Identify ambiguities early, ask clarifying questions, and proactively mitigate defects prior to release.
Documentation & Reporting:
Produce clear, reproducible defect reports including logs, screenshots, and risk assessments that enable efficient resolution. Required Qualifications Hands-on automation testing experience using Selenium. Strong SQL proficiency for backend validation, data analysis, and investigation. Healthcare, medical, or insurance domain experience (IDRE experience is a major plus). Demonstrated ability to interpret complex business logic and translate it into comprehensive test coverage. Proven experience developing and executing test scenarios aligned to workflows and business requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience testing case management systems, eligibility engines, claims-like workflows, or dispute resolution systems. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and CI pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions). Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST clients and test data design.
