Qualifications:

1+ years working preferably in a metal fabrication environment under a continuous improvement QMS with hands on inspection or an equivalent combination of education and experience Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret graphs Knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, e-mail software and the use of the Internet Certification as a Quality Technician preferred Programming for FARO and Micro-Vu Measurement Equipment desired

Provide direct support to the production floor by assisting with interpretation/development of manufacturing related documentation and providing or teaching proper measuring techniques. Provide technical inspection of manufactured and raw materials at receiving as outlined by the process. Collect data, evaluate, and present quality metrics. Program and operate FARO & Micro-Vu measurement equipment proficiently. Attend department meetings as required.
