This role supports assembly, inspection, staging, packing, and general shop-floor workflow. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, comfortable working with tools, able to read a tape measure accurately, and capable of moving between work areas as production needs change. Key Responsibilities Assemble tubular metal products, supports, shelving, and related architectural metalwork. Perform visual and basic quality inspections to ensure parts, kits, and finished products meet company standards. Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and accurately. Read and use a tape measure accurately. Review work orders, basic prints, BOMs, and packing lists to confirm accuracy. Track material quantities and report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged materials. Pick, stage, kit, pack, and label materials or finished products as needed. Support packing and shipping of completed products. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow safety guidelines, standard operating procedures, and quality requirements. Backup Duties This role may also support inventory, receiving, warehouse, and shipping functions as needed, including: Inventory counts, stock rotation, and downstocking. Tracking inventory movements in an ERP system. Receiving, organizing, and storing materials. Unloading packages or skids using pallet jacks and hand trucks. Supporting vendor shipments and outbound customer shipments. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 2-5 years of relevant manufacturing, assembly, quality, staging, or warehouse experience preferred. Must be able to read a tape measure accurately. Ability to read basic prints, work orders, and BOMs. Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Strong attention to detail and basic math skills. Basic computer skills for entering data and updating records. ERP system experience preferred. Forklift or lift-truck experience preferred but not required. Must be able to lift/push up to 50 pounds regularly. Must be able to stand for the full shift, excluding breaks. Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
