Quality Technician / Quality Lead / Quality Manager Manufacturing | Temp-to-Hire | Growth Opportunity A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Quality professional ranging from Technician level to Manager level , depending on experience, technical skill, and leadership capability. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with clear upward mobility and long-term stability. Why This Role Works Flexible entry point based on experience Strong pay progression from temp to full-time Opportunity to grow into leadership or management Hands-on manufacturing environment (not a desk-only role) Position Overview This role supports and/or leads quality systems and processes within a manufacturing environment. The level (Technician, Lead, or Manager) will be determined based on experience, education, and demonstrated leadership ability. Responsibilities may include hands-on quality work, documentation, customer support, continuous improvement initiatives, and—at higher levels—department oversight and leadership. Key Responsibilities (Level-Dependent) Process and maintain quality documentation (HTRs, PPAP, QIP, PQCT, PFMEA, data sheets) Support internal and external quality requirements Investigate and isolate off-quality product; assist with root cause analysis Read and interpret drawings and blueprints Maintain quality systems and compliance (ISO 9000 / 14001) Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives Train and support team members (leadership levels) Serve as customer contact for quality-related issues (leadership levels) Support department goals and business plans Adhere to safety, quality, and 5S standards Qualifications Technician / Lead Level High school diploma or GED required Manufacturing or quality experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to follow detailed instructions Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office; ERP systems a plus) Ability to read blueprints and technical documents Self-motivated and team-oriented Manager Level 4-year degree or equivalent relevant experience Proven leadership and team management experience Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills Knowledge of manufacturing processes (welding, roll-forming, stamping, extrusion preferred) Ability to manage staffing, training, budgets, and department performance Comfortable handling confidential information Willingness to work overtime or travel as needed Pay & Employment Structure Temporary Pay (Hourly):
Quality Technician:
~$17/hour Strong Tech with leadership potential: up to ~$19/hour Quality Manager (temp): ~$26.50/hour
Full-Time Conversion Pay:
Technician:
~$20/hour
Lead-level Tech:
up to ~$24/hour
Manager:
~$78,000-$86,000 salary (Final placement and pay based on experience and performance during the temp period.)
