The QA Technician will help ensure the overall quality of the manufactured product is in specification. The QC Technician will assist the Quality function in maintaining all procedures for ISO
  • 9001 certification.
This position is primarily responsible for inspection of final product for acceptance. This person must be accountable for accuracy with ensuring products meet drawing specifications and process routing requirements. Responsibilities Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection Report results to manufacturing through proper tagging and other communication Maintain quality records related to all Perform data entry of test and inspection results in computer Accuracy of documentation on quality records. Read/interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing routing instructions. Confirm product meets the defined specifications Issue and close out non-conformance notices related to product not meeting Use various quality gauges in measurement of product Handling of return material authorizations. Adhere to and promote the environmental, health, and safety policies of AFL Personal Qualities Organization

Business Requirements Job involves sitting, standing, walking and lifting for periods of time throughout the Must be able to differentiate between color shades. Qualifications Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Background in Quality Inspection preferred. Engineering drawing/blueprint experience required. Experienced user of QTS, Oracle and Order Management modules Experienced user of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong bias for action and problem-solving with a mindset towards quality and protecting the customer.
