Materials Testing Senior Engineering Technician (CMT)

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Materials Testing Senior Engineering Technician to perform field testing of construction related materials including but not limited to soils, concrete, grout/masonry, and asphalt.•Sign-on bonus may be available based on individual experience and certification(s)!

Responsibilities:

Perform routine and advanced field tests in accordance with ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, DOT or other standardsPerform and document observations of constructionReview and understand project related drawings and specificationsCommunicate effectively with ESP project staff and project construction teamReport observations and test results through ESPs field data collection software

Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED, or Associate degree requiredThree or more years of experience in construction testing of soil, concrete, masonry and/or asphalt materialsACI Field Grade I CertificationNuclear Density Gauge Safety CertificationEffective oral and written communication skillsWillingness to work in varying weather conditionsNICET, DOT, and other applicable Certifications will be considered beneficial in the roleCandidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the companys driving (MVR) policy.
