Job Description

Primary Function:
Must be able to handle and work with extremely small and fragile materials. Manipulate small physical features in the finished product (often with a microscope). This position will be responsible for reading and understanding the process specifications, completing process paperwork, performing assigned testing, and other tasks to assist with department operations. Position on 2nd shift. Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11pm.
Initial pay rate:
$18.60 + $1 premium for the shift.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all functions associated with the operation of equipment within the department Maintain inspection and test equipment in good working order Manage and perform product inspection activities Maintain detailed records and generate inspection reports Carry out basic testing and quality checks Understand and complete process paperwork Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and quality regulations and standards May handle hazardous waste
SKILLS:
Strong attention to details Good oral and written communication skills Applied math and technical skills Use of basic tools, i.e. Calipers, microscope Be able to have high dexterity in handling tweezers
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED is Strongly Preferred 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing Environment Able to perform simple data entry and use Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Able to read and understand technical reports, process specifications, and office correspondence. Able to use or learn the use of basic laboratory test equipment.
