Job Description

Nesco Resource is now hiring for First Shift Quality Assurance Technician positions at a facility in Rock Hill SC. The QA Technician position is responsible for supporting quality assurance activities in both the laboratory and production environments. This role performs product testing, inspections, documentation, sample collection, and verification processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. Technicians are cross trained to perform all QA functions, provide coverage for team members as needed, and have the authority to stop production when an immediate food safety or quality risk is identified.
Pay:
Salary Range is $19.00 to $22.00 per hour.
Shift:
Hours will be first shift with start times ranging from 5:30am to 9:00am on a monthly rotating schedule.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, food manufacturing or related field. Working knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Comfortable working in a production environment and spending approximately 90% of the shift on the manufacturing floor. Ability to work in environments with varying noise levels.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent use of hands and arms for reaching, handling, and performing inspections. Ability to stand, sit, walk, climb and maintain balance as needed throughout the shift. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
