Job Description

Senior Construction Control Representative / Quality Assurance Professional We are seeking a Senior Construction Control Representative / Quality Assurance Professional to support federal construction projects onsite at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. This role will perform construction surveillance, review work for compliance with plans/specifications, prepare reports, and support government personnel with construction quality, documentation, and field issue resolution.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00
PM Duration:
Contract through 3/25/2027
Pay Rate:
$50.00-$60.00/hr W2
Remote:
No remote work available — onsite only
Responsibilities:
Perform surveillance of construction projects and deliver findings to government personnel. Prepare surveillance reports for all phases of construction, including workmanship, materials, installation, and construction methods. Review contract plans and specifications related to construction activities. Provide recommendations regarding changes, deficiencies, differing site conditions, and construction quality concerns. Assist with field issue resolution and provide technical input to government personnel. Support change order preparation, contract modifications, and construction documentation. Develop detailed inspection requirements and quality control methods in coordination with government personnel. Support project quality assurance activities and compliance with contract requirements. Perform other construction quality and field support duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
10+ years of construction QA/QC, construction inspection, construction control, or related field experience. Federal, USACE, DoD, military base, or government construction experience strongly preferred. Experience reviewing construction work for compliance with plans, specifications, quality requirements, and applicable codes. Experience with at least one of the following areas preferred: NFPA 99 Medical Gases
NFPA 101
Life Safety Code NFPA 70 / National Electric Code Plumbing / IPC Fire protection systems / NFPA 13 and
NFPA 72 HVAC/TAB / ASHRAE / AABC / NEBB
Building commissioning Communications and security systems ICD 705 / secure facilities Biomedical engineering spaces Welding inspection Painting and metalizing inspection
