Thermoplastic Quality Technician

Functional Goal Will work directly with the Plant Chemist collecting product samples together, weighing out test formulas, performing incoming raw material quality assurance, some quality control testing, etc. Must have good attitude, willingness to learn and ability to lift 55 lbs.

Main responsibilities:

• Collecting Product Approval Samples
• Raw Material QA
• QC Testing
• QC Data Entry
• New Raw Material Evaluations
• Assisting Lab Chemist with Production Issues, Customer Complaints and Product Development
• QC Backup Weekly Qualification profile: High School Diploma 2 Year Technical Degree (Preferred) and/or 2 years' experience in a laboratory.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Exposure to the manufacturing process daily. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, with some overtime required or as instructed by your direct supervisor.
