Full Job Description Essential Job Duties:
Verify correct components are utilized by inspectors and press operators according to the production order sheet. Confirm that the matrix numbers, labels, and vinyl color are correct for the production order. Inspect record to ensure visual standards are met, including but not limited to dimples, scuffs, scratches, or other imperfections that may impair audio quality. Utilize measuring tools such as a microscope and scale to visually inspect and measure attributes of the records produced. Follow Quality Control procedures to ensure audio quality adheres to URP quality standards, including listening to a sample of records from the production order. Interpret audio and visual defects as conforming or non-conforming. Escalate and communicate nonconformances appropriately and professionally. Document quality findings and measurements electronically, and complete other required documentation as outlined in QA/QC procedures and/or assigned by the supervisor/manager. Work together with the production team to ensure quality standards are met and upheld. Maintain a clean workspace. All other duties as requested by supervisor/manager.
Required Education/Degree :
High School diploma or equivalent
Required Certification/License:
None Required Work Experience:
Must have a strong attention to detail and effective communication skills. Previous QA/QC experience in manufacturing environment a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications required.
Position Summary :
Perform audio inspections on production samples to ensure a high level of quality. Document quality findings and maintain URP's quality standards for vinyl records.
