Job Description

Hatch Stamping Company is looking for an individual to fill the position of CMM Programmer. The CMM Programmer must have a strong knowledge of stamping processes and part conformance verification with CMMs and open setup techniques for complex tight tolerance stamped parts. The CMM Programmer works as part of our team to support production and new product launches. Responsibilities (This section is not inclusive. Other duties may be assigned as necessary). Part verification of dimension to drawings CMM Programming using PCDMIS and CAD++ for new program launches Performing gage and instrument calibration Carrying out capability studies Maintaining records and analyzing and summarize data into management format Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalent. 2-3 years' work experience as a CMM programmer. Must have experience with programing software: PCDMIS and CAD++ are a plus. Understand GD&T principals and the ability to apply principles to CMM programs ensuring accurate and proper measurement. Thorough understanding of dimensional layout techniques, GD&T, SPC and Gage R&R. Properly use all required trade tool, (i.e. calipers, micrometers, C.M.M., height gages, ring gages, go/no go gages, checking fixtures etc.). Read and interpret blue prints as required. Ability to interface effectively with the tool and die makers. Possess basic computer skills. Exemplify superior quality of work, housekeeping, safety and attendance habits.
