  • Thread Inspector Verifies that Premium threads on pipes comply with specifications performing a visual and dimensional inspection, in a safe and efficient manner, according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.
Main Activities:
  • Ensures instruments are in good condition checking their expiration date and correct functioning.
  • Performs visual and dimensional inspection on pipes' threads.
  • Makes the decision of approving or rejecting threads in accordance to Premium threads requirements.
  • Updates information in the tracking systems and records the obtained results. Auxiliary/End Finish Performs the operation of tightening API couplings, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards. Main Responsibilities
  • Executes change over and set up of the machine.
  • Performs bucker machine operation.
  • Carries out API thread dopeing.
  • Settles API couplings for later tightening.
  • Performs hand and power tightening.
  • Controls tightness and adjusts when necessary.
  • Assists machine lock outs and tag outs and does operative maintenance
  • Updates information in the tracking systems.
  • Must be comfortable with utilizing technology including tablets and computer systems
