$24hr Position Summary The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting electronic systems, assemblies, subassemblies, components, and parts to ensure conformance to quality, reliability, and workmanship standards. This role supports manufacturing operations through detailed inspections, process audits, documentation, and communication of non-conforming conditions within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform visual inspections of electronic cards, assemblies, subassemblies, and completed systems to verify compliance with quality and workmanship standards Utilize microscopes, gauges, templates, measuring tools, and other manufacturing aids to inspect products and components Verify that all required manufacturing and process operations have been completed prior to inspection approval Identify, document, and communicate product defects, process deviations, and non-conforming conditions to appropriate personnel Provide timely feedback to manufacturing teams regarding inspection results and quality concerns Enter quality inspection data into electronic databases and manual tracking systems accurately and efficiently Assist with the disposition and documentation of non-conforming materials and products Perform process audits and support manufacturing teams with interpretation of quality and workmanship standards Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inspection processes and manufacturing quality Maintain compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations Complete all administrative and documentation activities associated with inspection activities Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in electronics manufacturing, quality inspection, or assembly preferred Experience using microscopes and precision measuring tools preferred Technical Skills Knowledge of electronic assembly processes, components, and inspection techniques Familiarity with: Surface mount and through-hole assemblies Point-to-point wiring Commercial soldering and touch-up Cable and harness inspection PCB and loaded board inspection Ability to read and interpret: Schematics Assembly drawings Work instructions Quality standards Experience using: Microscopes Measuring tools and gauges Manufacturing software systems Data entry and spreadsheet applications Basic computer proficiency required Preferred Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and ability to identify workmanship defects Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented manufacturing environment Strong verbal communication and documentation skills Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions Problem-solving skills and ability to work with standardized procedures and processes Ability to support training and provide guidance to other employees at advanced levels Physical Requirements Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.
