ACI Field Testing Technician

Oxford Solutions is working with a client in need of an ACI-Certified Field Testing Technician for a direct hire opportunity supporting field testing work at project sites near El Paso, TX and Santa Teresa, NM. This role is best suited for someone with active ACI certification, field testing experience, and the ability to work at remote job sites. Candidates must have an active ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I certification. Additional ACI certifications may qualify candidates for higher starting pay. Starting pay is $30.00 - $34.00+/hour based on active certifications, with higher starting pay available for candidates who hold multiple ACI certifications. This is a non-exempt position with overtime paid for hours worked over 40 (overtime will be required based on project needs). Per diem and housing allowance are available for eligible field assignments. Responsibilities Perform field concrete testing including slump, air content, temperature testing, and casting cylinders Prepare soil, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt samples in both lab and field environments Conduct testing activities in accordance with quality procedures, safety requirements, and project standards Secure, transport, and handle field testing samples and equipment Assist with field observations and inspection-related activities as assigned Support field team logistics, including pickup and transport of equipment, samples, and materials Lift and carry materials or equipment up to 50 pounds as needed Communicate professionally with project teams, coworkers, and site contacts Maintain accurate testing records and related documentation Requirements Active ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I certification required Ability to work independently and efficiently in field environments Ability to work safely while wearing required PPE Comfortable working in loud, dusty, outdoor, and remote job site conditions Ability to work extended hours, including overtime Ability to travel domestically up to 50% as needed Valid driver's license required; Clean driving record required Must be able to pass a background check Preferred Qualifications ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician certification Additional ACI certifications 1 to 2 years of related field or materials testing experience Soils and concrete testing experience Experience supporting long-term field assignments ACI-Certified Field Testing Technician - 26-00335 IND123
