Microbiology Quality Control Technician Compensation The pay for this position is $26/hr Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment 401(k) Microbiology Quality Control Technician Highlights • This position is a contract assignment that converts to permanent at 1 year • The required availability for this position is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Microbiology Quality Control Technician Responsibilities Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process products, finished products, and stability samples according to approved procedures. Collect environmental monitoring samples and perform analyses in accordance with site procedures. Maintain laboratory trending data and documentation. Compile testing data and review testing results for accuracy and completeness. •Assist with project protocols, change notifications, deviation waivers, and Quality Notifications under supervision. Perform equipment validations, verifications, maintenance, and calibration activities with minimal supervision. Execute test method validations as required. Support investigations and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Maintain laboratory logbooks and records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Microbiology Quality Control Technician Requirements Required Education Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline. Required Experience 1-3 years of laboratory experience in microbiology, quality control, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food manufacturing, or a related regulated environment. Preferred Skills Knowledge of microbiological testing techniques and laboratory best practices. Experience working in a GMP, GLP, FDA-regulated, or similarly regulated environment. Strong documentation and recordkeeping skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Interested?
