Quality Assurance Inspector Location:

Quality Objective The Quality Assurance Inspector ensures that all inbound and outbound products meet NatureSweet's established quality and food safety standards. This role is vital in protecting the integrity of our products by evaluating, documenting, and communicating fruit quality and grading results , ensuring our consumers receive only fresh, premium-quality produce. The inspector also plays a key role in conducting internal food safety audits, special inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives, promoting a strong culture of quality and compliance across all operations.
Main Responsibilities Product Inspection:
Evaluate and document fruit quality and grade product according to specific criteria in the HS Quality Bulletin. Report deficiencies to the assigned supervisor for corrective action. Conduct internal food safety audits by inspecting assigned facilities according to pre-established criteria, documenting and reporting deficiencies to the assigned supervisor for corrective action.
Special Inspections:
On occasion, we are required to perform other inspections or tests. The pre-established criteria and procedures shall be communicated prior to carrying out such inspections or tests. Ensure the accuracy of the required monitoring and control documents and reports. Other functions/activities required by Naturesweet.
Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED, higher or equivalent to work experience in the position.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years in quality assurance or control, preferably in the food industry.
Technical Knowledge:
HACCP SQF FSVP
(Foreign Supplier Verification Program) USDA Inspection Processes.
Languages:
Bilingual:

$20.19 - $21.15 per hour
