Job Summary:
Perform Quality Assurance (QA) functions mostly on the Production floor.
Primary Duties:
Verify that product quality meets minimum requirements. Product weight, temperature, appearance, accuracy of labels, room temperature to name a few. Monitor manufacturing and storage conditions. Accurately complete daily reports in a timely manner. Perform and document monitoring procedures, corrective actions as necessary for the HACCP or Food Safety and Quality Plans. Work and communicate in a professional manner with Operations and USDA. Follow and enforce all Food SafetyQuality rules and regulations, such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Sanitation SOPs and other pre-requisite programs. Hold raw materials or finished products when needed. Other duties assigned by the QA Manager.
Requirements:
Fluency in English and Spanish (speaking, writing, and reading) High School Diploma or GED. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. The company does not provide visa sponsorship now or in the future. Good verbal and written communication skills. Basic math skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to work weekends. Be able to work at standing position in cold conditions,
