Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5
PM Description:
The Quality Auditor Technician I is responsible for performing standardized inspections and audits on materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with the client's quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. This entry level role supports continuous improvement initiatives and helps maintain product integrity throughout the manufacturing and fulfillment process.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform incoming, in process, and final inspections of materials and products using established procedures and inspection criteria Conduct routine quality audits on production lines and document findings accurately Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials in accordance with company procedures Utilize inspection tools and equipment: Calipers Micrometers Gauges Other measurement tools Record inspection results in quality systems and maintain accurate documentation and traceability Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality issues Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are met Follow ISO, regulatory, and internal quality guidelines at all times Assist in maintaining audit readiness for internal and external audits Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required 0 to 2 years of experience in: Quality inspection Manufacturing Related fields Basic understanding of: Quality control principles Inspection processes Ability to: Read and follow work instructions Interpret drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer skills and experience with data entry systems Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or technical certification in: Quality Manufacturing Related field Experience with: ISO 9001 or similar quality systems Familiarity with: SAP PLM Other quality data systems
Knowledge of:
Basic statistical techniques Measurement systems Previous experience in: Electronics or communications manufacturing environments Core Competencies Attention to detail Analytical thinking Communication skills Team collaboration Problem solving Accountability and integrity
