The Quality inspector is responsible for conducting visual inspection, measurement and required test of manufactured products to ensure them comply with quality standards. The Quality inspector will work with a variety of inspection and test equipment and methods, processes and products, ensuring proper results are being followed and documented in order to maintain product quality and records traceability. The Quality inspector will notify, segregate and documented nonconforming product appropriately identifying and removing from the production flow until such product can be dispositioned. Skills Advanced blueprint reading skills Basic shop math Familiar with dimensional inspection gages and measurement equipment. (Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gage, Micro Vu, CMM, etc.). Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal or without supervision. Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions. Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook) Strong communication skills in English and Spanish to confidently explain information, correspond with management, supervisor, operators and Co-worker. Organizational skills to effectively process all paperwork and products. Time management.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Monitor production processing via random Quality in process and final pack audits (Certify the product before closing the boxes) Conduct necessary quality inspections using proper equipment and techniques Assist with problem solving as root cause analysis and corrective actions Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results Ensure incoming materials are in compliance to required specifications Ensure outgoing products are in compliance with required specifications Ensure production personnel are following proper procedure during production process. Availability to work on different shift, as required by the company.

Training Process:

90 days of approval If additional training is required 1. Blueprint reading requires 2. Measurement equipment training 3. Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Training. (GD&T) NOTE 1. Training courses are done in house, on weekends or evening. Some courses can be done at outside facility. NOTE 2. This position is an evolving position.
