We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to ensure products, materials, and processes meet defined quality standards through real-time inspections and verification in a manufacturing environment. This role is critical to preventing waste, ensuring compliance, and supporting continuous improvement on the production floor. This position is hourly and non-exempt status. WHAT we need you to do. Perform real-time verification of processes and machine setups on the manufacturing floor. Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections of all products at every stage of production. Ensure all operators follow proper tooling care procedures. Identify and immediately report non-conforming products or processes to production staff to prevent waste. Collect and document machine downtime information in the Machine Downtime report. Assist with additional quality-related tasks as assigned. Perform other duties as required to support production and quality initiatives. WHAT you need to possess. High school diploma or GED required. One (1) year of quality assurance experience in manufacturing preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to facilitate learning and support process improvements. Math aptitude and computer literacy; proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and microscopes. Ability to read and interpret technical specification drawings. Work Environment / Physical & Visual Demands This position is a hands-on role performed primarily on the manufacturing floor, not in an office setting. Flexibility required to adapt to production needs and schedule demands.

Physical Demands:

Standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting, repetitive motions, grasping, and frequent lifting (up to 20 lbs. independently and up to 50 lbs. with assistance). May also include sedentary/light work such as sitting, writing, and keystroking.

Visual Demands:

Sufficient acuity to read documents, perform inspections, and use measurement tools and computer systems.

Work Environment:

Exposure to noise, vibration, and a non-climate-controlled environment. Protection from outdoor weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature fluctuations.
