Role Summary and Strategic Impact The Shipping & Receiving Technician supports construction operations by ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are accurately received, stored, and distributed. This role is essential to maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting job site readiness, and ensuring projects remain on schedule through efficient material handling and coordination. Core Responsibilities I. Receiving & Inventory Control Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage Compare packing slips and purchase orders to delivered materials Enter received items into inventory tracking systems Identify and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies II. Shipping & Job Site Support Prepare and stage materials for job sites and internal departments Coordinate material requests with project managers and supervisors Load and unload trucks safely using appropriate equipment Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to field crews III. Warehouse Organization & Safety Organize, label, and store materials, tools, and equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Follow company safety policies and material-handling procedures Assist with periodic inventory counts and audits

Required Qualifications and Competencies Experience:

Prior shipping, receiving, warehouse, or construction-related experience preferred.

Technical Proficiency:

Ability to use inventory systems, basic computer applications, and material-handling equipment.

Industry Knowledge:

Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and equipment is a plus.

Drafting Ability:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Key Traits:

Strong attention to detail. Dependable and punctual. Team-oriented with good communication skills. Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Compensation and Benefits (Wichita Falls, TX)

Base Salary Range:

$37,440-$49,920 per year.
