You will work with the quality and repair/overhaul teams onsite during early morning shifts (6:00 AM-2:30 PM or 7:00 AM-3:30 PM) to support production and customer requirements. Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team Perform semi-complex inspections of detailed machined parts using a wide variety of measuring instruments to determine acceptability or rejection. Interpret blueprints, specifications, charts, manuals, and engineering data to establish inspection criteria and acceptance decisions. Develop and adapt inspection setups for sample parts, forgings, and castings. Maintain accurate acceptance/rejection records and prepare required documentation for defective conditions and test failures. Investigate causes of customer return failures and perform inspections within the repair and overhaul department. Use shop mathematics to convert blueprint dimensions and tolerances and document findings clearly. Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role Minimum of three years of related inspection experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities. Current FAA Repairman Certificate or FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate. Ability and willingness to achieve Organization Designation Authorization certification. Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints, customer specifications, and internal drawings/procedures. Working knowledge of shop mathematics and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as a participative team member. Pay Range $28.00 - $35.00/hour Ready to Make Your Mark?
