Nexeo Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Quality Assurance Specialist to support a growing manufacturing operation in Ogden, UT— This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in food manufacturing, dietary supplements, or pharmaceutical environments who thrive in a fast-paced production setting. In this role, you will perform inspections, review documentation, and ensure compliance with quality standards while partnering with production teams to maintain safe and efficient operations.   • Inspect, sample, and approve or reject incoming materials and components
  • Review receiving records for components, packaging, and labeling accuracy
  • Ensure materials and finished products meet established quality specifications
  • Release approved materials and finished products from quarantine
  • Review and approve batch production records and testing results
  • Monitor manufacturing, packaging, labeling, and storage processes for compliance
  • Support GMP standards and regulatory requirements across operations
  • Conduct facility audits and internal inspections
  • Write, revise, and review SOPs and work instructions
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve quality systems and processes
  • Ensure testing, examinations, and sample collections are completed accurately
  • Maintain detailed documentation and confidential quality records Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience in food, dietary supplements, or pharmaceutical industries preferred
  • Knowledge of GMP standards and quality assurance processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to powders and industrial conditions
  • Ability to understand and follow SOPs and quality procedures Pay $22.00 Per Hour Schedule Day Shift Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Nexeo Benefits
