POSITION PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for assuring quality products. Quality Control is charged with auditing products and components as manufacturing takes place, assuring products will meet customer specifications and achieve superior and reliable levels.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Control is responsible for ensuring all in-process materials meet customers specifications. Monitor and inspect production lines to verify GMP standards by following AQL's. Review production batch records while the products are in process to assure all information is accurate and complete. Ensure compliance with current SOPs. Check cleaning logs for proper cleaning and sanitation. Document and communicate findings from inspections and observations. Perform any other assigned duties and responsibilities.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
A High School diploma, or equivalent with 1-2 years experience in quality within a manufacturing, nutritional or pharmaceutical environment.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Strong background and understanding of GMP and SOPs, including the ability to write and interpret them. Strong critical thinking and communication skills. Experience within manufacturing process a plus. Ability to collaborate effectively with team members Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Oracle is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primarily a manufacturing setting that may involve standing, sitting, bending, twisting, walking, climbing stairs. Conditions may include exposure to strong odors, confined spaces, warm and cold temperatures, and wet, slippery and slick surfaces. Overtime may be necessary based on production demands. Vs481rXrnL
