Job Description

Position & Office Overview As an Equipment Technician, you understand the true meaning of hard work. You are smart, strong, and have a "roll up your sleeves" attitude towards your work. You are extremely detail-oriented when managing equipment. You're a great problem solver and take on any responsibility thrown your way. Responsibilities Under supervision from management, clean, calibrate, track, and maintain construction materials field testing tools and equipment Perform routine preventative maintenance to keep the equipment in good condition Assist in ensure proper tracking and record keeping of equipment Focus on ensuring equipment and all appropriate areas are clean, organized, and provide a safe working environment Responsible for managing equipment, assist in maintaining tools and equipment Encourage the use of proper PPE safety policies, ensuring that you use proper PPE and encourage others to use the appropriate PPE Additional responsibilities may include assisting with training sessions and activities in the soil and concrete laboratories Perform additional related duties as required Qualifications High School diploma or GED 0+ years of experience Nuclear gauge training and certification required This position requires carrying 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height About Us ECS Group of Companies (ECS) was founded in 1988 with the goal to raise the standards of professional engineering consulting.
