Job Description

Role Summary A mid to senior-level Quality Assurance Inspector responsible for conducting thorough audits, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring compliance with quality standards across various projects. The role includes developing audit plans, providing detailed reports and recommendations, and supporting multi-functional teams in maintaining high-quality standards. This position demands extensive experience in auditing and quality assurance, with a focus on
ISO 9001
2015 standards and government procurement processes. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive audit plans and checklists at least fifteen (15) calendar days prior to each audit, regardless of whether performed by employees or USG personnel Properly file received documents within the designated file management system within three (3) business days of receipt Prepare and deliver detailed audit reports within five (5) business days of completing an audit Draft nonconformance documentation and provide actionable recommendations for the USG during on-site audits and documentation reviews Develop and maintain a deliverables tracker in accordance with USG specified formats and fields Review all received deliverables, identify non-conformances or required changes, and provide concise summaries within three (3) business days Collaborate with multi-function teams to assist in the development and refinement of project requirements Support internal and external stakeholders by providing guidance related to quality standards and audit procedures Assist in the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes and documentation Perform additional duties as assigned to support the integrity of quality assurance efforts Qualifications An Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field Minimum of 15 years' experience in auditing, quality control, or quality assurance, or 10 years' experience with successful completion of the
ISO 9001
2015 Lead Auditor Course Alternatively, at least 5 years' experience with an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification in areas including
ISO 9001
2015 auditing, procurement, contract services, invoice auditing, risk-based auditing, logistics, and
PWS/SOW/SOO
analysis Demonstrated experience with over 50% of responsibilities related to auditing, quality control, or quality assurance within the Department of War (DoW) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government acquisition platforms such as SharePoint and SMT Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills In compliance with federal law, all persons hired must verify their identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Publishing Pay Range:
$78,000.00 - $84,000.00 annually This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
